All about me

I figured I might as well start posting more I mean I have nothing better to do so here goes nothing. I might try to post once a week if I'm lucky. First off I am just about done with this winter. Snow and Georgia don't get along very well, its not snow its SLEET and I cant stand another millimeter of it.

So anyways I figured I would tell the ones of you that actually read this blog a all about the author session. FUN FACTS!!! My name is Lindsay and I'm 15. I live in wonderful (and currently cold as mess) Dacula, GA. I was named after my grandmother maden name so I guess instead of the man with two first names I'm the girl with two last names (if you get that reference I now have a new friend). I am a single pringle only child and I have a dog named Clay, a turtle named Mr. Wiggles, and a fish named Mr. fish (I know original names right???). Other than that its just me and my parents. Joy. I think of myself as very creative I love to draw, paint, color, pretty much anything you put in front of me I will do. I love the Georgia bulldogs and probably will until the day I die.

My top 5 favorite things to do... hmmm... (not in any necessary order) 1. To spin, whether it be a rifle, flag, saber, baton, etc. it is definitely one of my favorite things to do. It not only makes me feel like a part of something bigger than me  or my school but when I spin I feel free and away from all aspects of the world. 2. To play my cello, whether it be solo or with the entire orchestra it is amazing to be able to express feelings and emotions without it being told. To me it is a whole new aspect of relief and freedom to express myself any way I please to. 3. To sing, I may not be on anybody's top ten list of people to listen to but it is something I love to do. No matter where I am whether it be at home or school I will have my ear-buds in singing along to whatever song comes on whether it be country, pop, or gospel I love to sing. 4. To help, helping people is a major thing to me. To me I think of the moments when I was at my lowest point and someone helped me. I just want to return the favor to anyone else who may be in need of these little or big blessings. 5. This one is a tricky one I'm slowly running out of ideas. I would say my last favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family and friends. I don't care where we are, we can be in the mountains, at the lake, hunting,  camping, at church, when I'm with my friends and family no matter where I am I'm home. Point blank end of story.

More things about me... I love to hunt, fish, camp, read, pretty much that keeps me out of big crowds and really loud noises. Or out of trouble. anything else you want to know about me just leave your questions in the comments.

Best wishes,
Lindsay

D.R.E.A.M.S.

I know its been a while since I posted, but I"m a busy girl for only fourteen (about to be 15 in 6 days!!! :) ). To be honest stress doesn't seem like a big deal anymore. I figured that I might as well do something productive and talk about chasing our dreams.
D- desire
R- recognition
E- effort
A- ambition
M- motivation
S- self confidence
To chase after our dreams we have to start with a desire to want to do them and then recognize what we want and have to do. When we put forth the effort to reach our dreams and we have the ambition to follow through with them we become more motivated to chase our other dreams. As we chase our dreams and succeed we in turn become more self confident.
I should be taking my own advice while saying that we should all chase our dreams and that's not going so well for me. I want to be Colorguard captain and the 1st chair chellist in my orchestra class, but , more than any of that I want be happy and I want to chase my dreams and who I am and who I'll become. Take this advice to hand and use it when your feeling down, it will give you the chance to get up and be all you can be.
If you fall down get back up shake yourself off and keep going and don't give up. I can't make you get up and follow you dreams but I hope I helped motivate you to be more than what you are now. When needed you can always take a step back and look at what all you've accomplished and what you have left just don't go back to where you were and give up, make something better of yourself and make you and everyone around you proud.

D.R.A.M.A.

D.R.A.M.A.- Every teenagers biggest problem, especially for me. I know a lot of adults thing every teenager has it easy, but that's not always exactly true. Just this week my best friends ex started talking about me and her behind our back and saying that we called my other friend a lot of other names. Drama, drama, drama is all that seems to be around me lately and it sucks... for me drama all breaks down into this one little acronym-
D- dumb
R- resentful
A- annoying
M- messed up and,
A-  atrocious (gross, bad)
Yeah this is my first entry but I have much more where that came from... next topic- stress.
